Bihar Police Recruitment 2018- Selection Process

The selection process of Bihar Police Recruitment depends on three phases. You have to secure the qualifying marks of each phase to appear for the next one. The exams will be taken consecutively.

Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination will be conducted on the basis of two subjects,

  • Current Affairs

100 questions will be there that you have to answer within 90 minutes. And the full marks for the paper will be 100. There will be negative marking of 0.2 marks for each wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.

Mains Examination

The Mains Examination consists of two parts. Different subjects will be there for different parts.


Subject for mains Examination Part-I is,

  • General Hindi

The total duration of 90 minutes will be provided to answer 100 questions of total 100 marks.


Subjects for Part-II are,

  • General Knowledge
  • General Science
  • Civics
  • History
  • Geography

  • Mental Ability

The given time, the number of questions and full marks will be the same as for the Part-I examination.
