Haryana Police Recruitment: Vacancy Details
As per the notification, the vacancy is quite huge this time. So, it is the perfect opportunity for the aspirants who have dreamed of working as policemen. There are vacancies in different categories.
Category No. 1- Male Constable(General Duty)
There are 5000 posts in the category no 1 for Male constables. Out of the 5000 vacancies, 2300 are for the unreserved categories and the vacancies reserved for other categories are as follows,
- SC- 900
- BCA- 700
- BCB- 400
- ESM-Gen- 350
- ESM-SC- 100
- ESM-BCA- 100
- ESM-BCB- 150
Category NO. 2 Female Constable (General Duty)

Haryana Police Recruitment – Eligibility Criteria
There are certain eligibility criteria you need to fulfil to apply for your desired post. Take a look at Chhattisgarh Police Recruitment to know more of this recruitment.
The minimum age to apply for the vacant post in Category No. 1 to Category No. 3 is 18 years. The maximum age limit is 25 years. Those candidates who belong from the reserved categories will get age relaxation as per the government rules.
However, if you want to apply for the post of Sun-Inspector then the minimum age has to be 21 years. The maximum age limit for the Sub-Inspector Post under Category No. 4 and 5 is 27 years.
The age relaxation for the reserved categories will be applied as per the government rules.
The required educational qualification for the Category NO 1 to Category NO. 3 is different from Category NO 4 and 5.
The candidates are willing to apply for any posts from Category No. 1 to Category NO. 3 need to have passed at least Matriculation Examination from a recognized board or institution.
To apply for the Sub-Inspector Post, you need to have a Degree(Graduation) or its equivalent from a recognized university or institutions.
Along with the above mentioned educational qualification, the candidates need to have studied Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric Standard or in Higher Education.

Haryana Police Recruitment 2019: Application Fees
You need to pay the Application Fee via Online Mode.
The Application Fee for the Post of Constable under category no. 1, 2, and 3 are Rs. 100/- The reserved category candidates will get fee exemption. The fee after exemption look like the following,
- Female Candidates Domiciled in Haryana- Rs. 50/-
- Male Candidates from SC/BC Category- Rs. 25/-
- Female Candidates from SC/BC Category- Rs. 13/-
To apply for the post of Sub-Inspector you need to pay Rs. 150/- as application fees. The Fee exemption for the reserved category candidates are like this,
- Female Candidates Domiciled in Haryana- Rs. 75/-
- Male Candidates from SC/BC Category- Rs. 35/-
- Female Candidates from SC/BC Category- Rs. 18/-
However, the Ex-Servicemen who domiciled in Haryana need not pay any application fees
Haryana Police Recruitment 2019: Selection Process
The selection process includes Knowledge Test with 80% weightage after qualifying in the Knowledge Test aspirants will be called for Physical Screening Test.
The Knowledge Test will have 100 objective types multiple choice questions. Each of the questions will have 0.80 marks so, the full marks in the paper will be 80 marks. However, there is no negative marking for the wrong answers. The question paper will be in Hindi, except the portion where the English Language Test is there. You will have to complete the whole paper within 1hour and 30minutes.

Candidates equaling seven(07) times the number of vacancies in each category shall be declared as qualified in the Knowledge Test.
Physical Screening Test(PST)
The successful candidates in the Knowledge Test will be called for the Physical Screening Test. The Physical Screening Test will be qualifying in nature. To judge the physical fitness and endurance the standards prescribed is as follows,

Note: The sole responsibility of maintaining the medical fitness to undergo the test is rested upon the candidates. The recruitment board will not entertain any application for changing dates or venue for any reason.
Candidates not participating in the PST or failed to complete the standard mentioned will be disqualified for the further selection process.
Physical Measurement Test
The candidates qualified in the PST will be called for the Physical Measurement Test as per the standard mentioned. The aspirants who fail to meet the standards prescribed for Physical Measurement shall stand eliminated from further selection.
