IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria
There are certain eligibility criteria which candidates need to fulfill to apply for the vacant posts. Check the eligibility criteria here and find yourself eligible.
To apply for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2019 the aspirants have to be a citizen of India. A subject of Nepal, Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came over India before 1st January 1962 with an intention of permanently settling in India is also eligible.
The minimum age to apply for the vacant posts is 20 years. The maximum age limit is 28 years. However, the reserved category candidates will get relaxation in the upper age. The maximum age for the SC and ST Candidates is 33 years and the age maximum age limit for the OBC candidates is 31 years. Any persons with disabilities will also get age relaxation for up to 10 years. Hence, the maximum age limit for the Physically Challenged Persons is 38 years.
Candidates need to possess a degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by any such government agencies are eligible to apply for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2019.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems are mandatory. To apply for the vacant posts candidates should have Certificate/Diploma or Degree in computer operations/Language.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2019: Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The whole recruitment process consists of two phases. The first phase is the Preliminary Examination and the Second Phase is the Main Examination. Only the successful candidates from the first phase examination will be called for the second phase of the exam. The recruitment will be done on the basis of the score secured by the candidates in the Main Examination. There will not be any Personal Interview or Personality Test before recruitment. Computer-based online examination will be held at the selected venues for both prelims and mains examination.
Preliminary Examination will have 100 multiple choice questions carries 1 marks each. Hence, the full marks will be 100 marks. There will be three sections, you will get 20 minutes to complete each section.

There is a negative marking as well. 1 mark will be deducted from the total for every four wrong answers. However, nothing will be credited or deducted for the unattempted questions.
Coming to the mains exam, there are some significant changes in the exam pattern. According to the last update by the IBPS, the Main Examination for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment will have the paper with 190 questions. The candidates will get 160 minutes as a whole to complete the full paper.
Along with that, there are some other changes as well. Previously, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability used to be in different sections. But from now there will be 50 questions altogether and you will have to complete it within 45 minutes. Check the table to know more about the question paper.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment: Application Fees
You need to pay the application fees through the Online method only. The application fee for the General and OBC candidates is Rs 600/- But the SC, ST, and Physically Challenged candidates will get fee exemption. They need to pay Rs 100/- as the application fee.
IBPS Clerk Admit Card & Call Letter
You need to download the admit card from the official website of the IBPS once it is out. It will not be sent to the candidates by post or any other medium. The admit card will be issued 10 to 15 days before the exam. All you have to do is just to log in to the official website with your registration number and password(Date of Birth).
The admit card will be issued in two phases. First for the IBPS Clerk Prelims and then for the mains exam.
Only the successful candidates in the Preliminary examination can seat for the Mains Exam. So, if you get qualified in the prelims then 1 week before the mains exam you need to check the official IBPS website for the Mains Admit Card.
IBPS Clerk Cut Off
Candidates need to clear the sectional cut off to clear the Prelims and Mains exam as a whole.
