Educational Qualification

Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018: Selection Process

Making things similar to the IBPS PO Recruitment and Indian Bank PO Recruitment also consists of three phases. The First Phase is Online Preliminary Examination. The Second Phase is the Main Examination which will be conducted Online as well. The final phase is the Interview or Personality Test.

Preliminary Examination

The preliminary examination will have 100 objective type multiple choice questions carrying 1 marks each. It contains three individual tests. The following table will give you a clear idea,

You need to score the minimum cut-off marks for each of the tests. The minimum cut-off will be decided by the bank later on depending upon requirements.

Main Examination

Successful candidates in the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination. The main examination consists of 5 individual tests. Here is the structure of the Main Examination.

You need to clear sectional cut-off in the mains exam as well. Only the successful candidates from the mains examination will be called for the Personality Test.

Note: There will be negative marking for each wrong answers in both the Preli and Mains exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total marks for each wrong answer.

Personal Interview

Candidates shortlisted from the mains exam will be called for the Interview. The interview will be conducted on selected centers. The shortlisted candidates will get the intimation in their registered email or mobile number. A message will be sent notifying the date, time and venue.

The marks allotted for the personal interview is 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview for the General candidates are 40% whereas, the qualifying marks for the reserved category candidates are 35%
