How To Apply For Jharkhand High Court Recruitment?

  • Firstly, you have to go for the registration process on the official website
  • Then, put your personal details there followed by a password
  • Next, click the Apply now button to proceed with the applying process

    • Scanned Photograph and signature
    • A scanned copy of the Matriculation Certificate in proof of date of Birth

    • Scanned copy of the certificate of Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute
    • A scanned copy of typing certificate showing typing speed of 40 words per minute in English issued from a recognized Institution and typing certificate showing typing speed in Hindi issued from a recognized Institution
    • Scanned copy of the caste certificate in the prescribed form as per norms of the State Government issued by the Deputy Commissioner or SDO (Sub-Divisional Officer), verified and countersigned by the Deputy Commissioner in the case issued by SDO (for reserved category only)
  • Once you are done with all the process of uploading, you need to pay the application fee

Jharkhand High Court Recruitment- Exam Pattern

Assistant Post

If you are appearing for the post of Assistant, you have to qualify in 2 tests,

  • Written Test
  • Computer Skill test
  • and the Viva Voice

Written test

  • You will get 2 hours to complete the paper. The paper will consist questions of 90 marks.
  • Gen (UR), BC-I & BC-II category candidates have to secure at least 40% marks to pass this test.
  • and SC, ST category candidates have to secure at least 30% marks to pass the examination.

Computer Skill Test

The computer skill test is Qualifying in Nature. You will get 5 Min to prove yourself. You have to type 100 words within 5 minutes (20 words per minute)

Viva Voice

  • Once you qualify both of these tests you will be called for the Viva-Voice process.
  • Full marks for this viva voice will be- 15
  • You have to get at least 5 marks to qualify this interview process.

Assistant Librarian

For the post of Assistant Librarian, you have to pass two tests-

Written Examination and the Viva Voice

Written Examination

  • You will be given 2 hours to complete the paper of 90 marks. And, you have to qualify this written test to get entry into viva voice.
  • If you belong to General category(UR) or BC-I & BC-II category, you need to get at least 40% marks.
  • SC and ST candidates have to secure at least 30% marks for qualifying this written test examination.

Viva-Voce

10 marks will be allotted for this interview process. 40% is the qualifying marks for all category candidates.

Syllabus for Written Examination

  1. Library Science/ Circulation work/ Fundamental Categories, Facet
    Analysis and Sequence/ kinds of entries/ Indexing and abstracting Periodicals/ Library and Information Network (30 marks)
  2. Objective General Knowledge (30 marks)
  3. Numerical Ability and Reasoning Test including Mathematical Test
    of Matric Standard (30 marks)

Cashier

If you have applied for the post of cashier then you have to go through the same selection process, that is for Assistant Librarian posts. Only the syllabus is different. Check now.

  1. Micro and Macro Economic Theories, Indian Economy and International Trade (30 marks)
  2. Accounting, auditing and Taxation/ Business, Finance and Financial Institutions/ Organisation Theories and Industrial Relations (30 marks)
  3. Numerical Ability and Reasoning Test including Mathematical Test of Matric Standard (30 marks)

Translator

The process of selecting candidates for the post of Translator involves the same examination, that is conducted for Assistant posts. But, the syllabus is quite different.

Syllabus for Written Examination

  1. General English comprising of English Comprehension, English
    Essay, English paragraph writing and English word power (30 marks)
  2. General Hindi comprising of Hindi Comprehension, Hindi Essay,
    Hindi paragraph writing and Hindi word power (30 marks)
  3. Translation from English to Hindi and Hindi to English (30 marks).

Jr. Translator

Junior Translator selection also depends on the writing test of 90 marks and viva voice of 15 marks.

Syllabus for Written Examination

  1. General English comprising of English Comprehension, English
    Essay, English paragraph writing and English word power (30 marks)
  2. General Hindi comprising of Hindi Comprehension, Hindi Essay,

Typist

The written test examination for the post of typist has the same criteria that are for other posts. But you have to give a Typing Skill Test instead of the Viva Voice.
