NVS Recruitment 2018-19: Selection Process

To select the eligible candidates for the vacant posts there will be a two-phase examination. In the first phase, there will be an Online written exam and in the second phase is the Personality Test. Based on the performance in these two exams the candidates will be selected for the vacant posts.

However, the candidates selected for the Trained Graduate Teachers posts will not have to go through an interview.

For the post of Assistant Commissioner

The written test for the post of Assistant Commissioner comes with 5 parts. There will be 180 questions as a whole each will have 1 marks. You will get 3 hours to complete the paper as a whole. Have a look at the table below for a better idea,

For The Post Of PGT, TGT, and Miscellaneous Teachers

There will be a common paper for the post of Post Graduate Teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers, and Miscellaneous Teachers. There will be multiple choice objective type questions in the following subjects,

General English & Hindi: 40(20+20)

General Awareness: 30

General Intelligence: 10

Numerical Ability: 10

Reasoning: 10

Teaching Aptitude: 20

Concerned Subject: 80

Therefore, the Full Marks for the whole paper is 200 marks. You will have 2hours and 30 minutes to complete the whole paper. The difficulty level of the questions will be of the postgraduate standard for the TGT post. Whereas for the other posts the question difficulty level will be of Graduation Standard.

NVS Recruitment 2018: Application Fee

There are certain application fees which candidates need to pay to apply for their desired posts. The application fee is Rs. 1500/- for the post of Principal and Assistant Commissioner. The candidates applying for the post of TGT, Miscellaneous Language Teacher, and Regional Language Teacher needs to pay Rs. 1000/- as Application Fee.

Assistant Commissioner

To apply for the post of Assistant Commissioner you need to have a master degree in Humanities or Science or in Commerce from a recognized institute or University.

Desirable Experience

Working experience in the residential school system and research work done in the field of education.

Post Graduate Teachers

Candidates need to have the Master’s Degree in their corresponding field to apply for their desirable post. The table below will give you a brief idea,

Or, B.Sc (Computer Science)/BCA or Equivalent and Post graduate Degree in any subject froma recognized University. Or,

Or, “A” level from DOEACC and Post Graduate Degree in any subject.
