RVUNL Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria
There are certain eligibility criteria you need to fulfill to apply for your desired post.

|Mechanical||Aspirants willing to apply for the post of Mechanical Engineer should have a four year full time Graduation Degree in Engineering as a regular student. The minimum marks obtained should be 60%. If you have AMIE with 50% marks in any of the following subjects you will be considered as eligible as well.

|Civil||To apply for the post of Assistant Civil Engineer you need to have a four year full time Graduation Degree with at least 60% marks as a regular student. Having AMIE with at least 50% marks in one of the following subjects will make you eligible as well,
|Information Technology||A candidate with full time four years Graduation Degree in engineering as a regular student with minimum 60% or AMIE with 50% marks in any of the following subject,
Electronics & Communications Engineering.
Candidates with 2 years post graduate diploma in Computer Applications or Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics and Communications Engineering will be regarded as eligible
All the degree mentioned in the table must be obtained from a University or Institution established by Law in India and recognized equivalent to full-time Graduation Degree in Engineering by AICTE, New Delhi.
Along with the above-mentioned degree, candidates need to have the working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.
If you are one of such candidates who is appearing in the final year or semester examination of the required educational qualification also be considered as eligible. However, in that case, he/she need to submit the proof of the educational qualification at the time of document verification.
To apply for the post of Assistant Engineers candidates need to be at least 21 years of age. Whereas the maximum age limit 41 years as on 01.01.2019 for the Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and Civil Engineer post.
For the post of Assistant Engineer(Information Technology), the maximum age limit is 40 years as on 01.01.2019.
The reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age. The upper age relaxation will be offered in following cases,
- The SC, ST, BC, and MBC candidates will get upper age limit relaxation up to 5 years.
- Age relaxation for the Women from General Category is 5 years as well.
- Maximum age will be relaxed up to 10 years in case of a Women belongs from SC, ST, BC, or MBC category.
- The maximum age relaxations will be 10 years, 13 years and 15 years for the Persons with Disabilities (Physically Handicapped) belonging to General category, BC/MBC category and SC/ST category, respectively.
Candidates must have to be physically and mentally fit. Candidates with any such physical or mental defect which likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his duties as a member of service will be considered as ineligible. All the selected candidates must have to produce a certificate to that effect from a Medical Authority as referred by the Rajasthan Recruitment Board for the purpose.
Other Important Case Of Disqualification
Along with the above-mentioned eligibility criteria, there are certain cases which must be taken into account. However, it is really good of Rajasthan Recruitment Board taking such initiatives to stop some impactful social diseases.
- No candidate with more than one spouse living shall be eligible for appointment to the service
- Candidates who have married to a person having already a spouse living will be considered as ineligible
- If an aspirant who is married and accepted dowry at the time of the marriage will be regarded as ineligible.
- A candidate will not be considered as eligible if he/she has more than two children on or after 01.06.2002
Rajasthan Recruitment Of Assistant Engineer: Selection Process
There will be a Computer Based Online Examination to select the suitable candidates for the vacant posts. There will be two parts of the online application. Part A will be given 60% weightage and Part B will have 40%. You will have 2 hours as a whole to complete the two papers. Both the paper will have Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions. Part A will have questions from the respective field of engineering. The standard and the syllabus of the questions in Part A will be of the level of Degree in Engineering in the respective discipline.
Part B with a 40% weightage will have questions from the following topics,
- Reasoning & Mental Ability
- General Knowledge
- General Science
- Hindi General
- English General
Except for the question paper for the Hindi General, all the questions will be in English. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer.
However, the whole selection will be made based on the performance in this examination since there is no personal interview or any other written test.
Candidates need to secure a minimum mark to qualify in the written examination. The qualifying marks for the Unreserved Category Candidates are 30% of the total marks. For the reserved category candidates like SC, ST, BC, MBC, Ex-Servicemen, PWD the minimum qualifying marks are 20% of the total.

Rajasthan Recruitment of Assistant Engineer: Pay Scale
On appointment, the candidates will be engaged as the ‘Probationer Trainee’ initially. During the Probation Training Period, they will be paid a fixed remuneration of Rs. 39,900 per month. On the successful completion of the probation training period, the salary will be fixed at a minimum (first cell) of Level-14 in the pay Matrix that is at Rs. 56,100/- as basic pay.
Rajasthan Recruitment Of Assistant Engineer: Application Fees
The Application Fee for the Unreserved Category Candidates is Rs. 850/- If your family income is less than 2.50 lakh per annum then you will get exemption in the Application Fee. In that case, you need to pay Rs. 550 as the application fees.
The Application Fee for the reserved category candidates as in, the candidates from the SC, ST, BC, and MBC category need to pay Rs. 550 /-
