RSMSSB LDC Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria

Before you go to apply for your desired post you must check the eligibility criteria. Because there are certain eligibility criteria as in the nationality, maximum age limit, the educational qualification which must have to be fulfilled unless the application will be rejected.

Nationality

Candidates need to be a citizen of India or a Subject of Nepal or Bhutan.

Some other cases,

  • If a candidate is a Tibetian Refugee who has come to India before 01-01-1962 with an intention of settling in India permanently will be considered as eligible.
  • Or else a person from one of the following country who has come to India with the intention of staying in India forever will be eligible as well.

Age

To apply for the vacant posts the minimum age of the candidate must have to be 18 years. The maximum age limit is 40 years as on 1st January 2019. However, the candidates from the reserved category will get age relaxation as per the government rules.

The relaxation in the maximum age is only for the candidates who are permanently domiciled in Rajasthan. Aspirants appearing for the examination from other states of India will not be considered for age relaxation or application fee exemption as well. The candidates from other states will be regarded as unreserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification

Having a  senior secondary(10+2) degree is essential to apply for the vacant posts. Along with the higher secondary, having a degree or certificate courses in the computer is necessary as well. If you have you one of the following you will be considered as eligible,

  • A DOEACC “O” or Higher level certificate course under control of the department of electronics, Government of India.
  • Computer operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/ Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) Certificate organized under National/ State Council or Vocational Training Scheme.
  • A certificate course on computer concept conducted by National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology, New Delhi.
  • A Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Computer Science or Computer Application from a university or an Institute recognized by Government. OR,
  • If you have computer science or computer application as one of your subjects while studying Senior Secondary from a recognized board or its equivalent you will be regarded as eligible
  • Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from recognized a polytechnic institution.
  • Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota under control of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited.

RSMSSB LDC Recruitment 2019: Application Fees

The candidates from the unreserved category and creamy layer of OBC category need to pay Rs. 450/- as the Application fee. Whereas the other reserved category candidates will get exemption in application fees. The application fee for the reserved category candidates is as follows,

  • Non-Creamy Layer OBC – Rs. 350/-
  • SC & ST from Rajasthan- Rs. 250/-

RSMSSB LDC / Junior Assistant: Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in the two phases test. The first phase of the test consists of a written examination. In the second phase, there will be a typing test to test the Hindi and English typing speed and accuracy. Go through the tables below to know further about the scheme of the examination.

All the questions in phase I written examination will be multiple choice objective type. The exam will be conducted in Offline mode. All the questions will carry equal marks along with that the standard of the questions will be of Secondary Class of Rajasthan State Education Board.
