RSMSSB Recruitment of Stenographer: Eligibility Criteria

The minimum age of the candidate must have to be 18 years. The maximum age limit as on 1st January 2019 is 40 years. However, the candidates from the reserved category will get age relaxation as per the government norms.

The relaxation in the maximum age is only for the candidates who are permanently domiciled in Rajasthan. All the aspirants from other states will be considered as unreserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification

Candidates need to pass the senior secondary(10+2) examination to apply for the vacant posts. Along with the higher secondary you need to have one the following degree or certificate courses in computer,

  • DOEACC “O” or Higher level certificate course under control of the department of electronics, Government of India. OR,
  • A certificate course on computer concept by NIELIT, New Delhi. OR,
  • COPA/ DPCS Certificate organized under National/ State Council or Vocational Training Scheme. OR,
  • A Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Computer Science from a university or an Institute recognized by Government. OR,
  • Senior Secondary from a recognized board or its equivalent examination with computer science as one of the subject. OR,
  • Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a polytechnic institution recognized by Government. OR,
  • RSCIT conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota under control of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited.

RSMSSB Recruitment of Stenographer: Application Fees

All the aspirants need to pay a certain amount as the application fees. The Application fee is Rs. 450/- for the unreserved and creamy layer of OBC category candidates. While the other reserved category candidates will get exemption in application fees. The application fee for the reserved category is as follows,

  • Non-Creamy Layer OBC – Rs. 350/-
  • SC & ST from Rajasthan- Rs. 250/-

RSMSSB Recruitment of Stenographer: Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Written Test followed by the typing test and personal interview. Therefore, the selection process consists of two phases.
