TNPSC Notification for the post of Forest Apprentice releases on 04.07.2018. To participate in the exam you need to apply online before 1.08.2018.

You can apply for the post by logging in to TNPSC Portal. Or Click Here to Apply. The last date for payment of examination through Bank is 03.08.2018. You need to pay the exam fee from any branch of State Bank of India or Indian Bank. For more details switch to official website.

Examination Fees

An examination fee of Rs 150 has to be paid at the time of submitting the online application if you do not fall under the exempted category.

Another fee of Rs 150 for One Time Registration needs to be paid at the time of registration. However, the One Time Registration charges are for the candidates registering for the first time. (Revised with effect from 01.03.2017 vide G.O.

    According to the TNPSC Notifications, the candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry is more preferred. And the other candidates with Bachelor’s degree on the subject mentioned will be considered, only if the Forestry graduate candidates are not available for selection.
  3. Physical Qualification
    Male candidates should have a minimum height of 163 cms and the female candidates should have a minimum height of 150 cms. In the case of chest measurement, it should be like this…
    For Men: On full expiration should not measure less than 84 cms and on full inspiration should not measure less than 89 cms. The difference has to be more the 5 cms as well.
    For Women: On full expiration should not measure less than 79 cms and on full inspiration should not measure less than 84 cms. The difference has to be more the 5 cms as well.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The selection will be made depending on the performance in the written exam, Physical fitness test and finally the interview.

The physical test will commence under the supervision of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and it will be held before admission to oral test.

Male and Female candidates have to undergo a physical test of a walk over 25 Kms and 16 Kms respectively.
