What are Prepositions

Prepositions are those words, which show the relationship of Nouns (or Pronouns) with the other words in the sentence. Prepositions are used before Nouns (or Pronouns) in the sentence.

Above

Above is used when one thing is shown at or on a higher place than the other in terms of numbers, levels, age, qualities etc.

Examples:

Mount Everest is 8848 meters above the sea level.
Children above 21 years of age are not the part of the package.
Who ranks above a DSP in police?
His work is above errors.
Temperature crosses above 45 Degrees Celsius in summers.
