Adverbs
A word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb, or other adverb or a word group, expressing a relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause, degree etc. is called Adverb.
So adverbs tell the qualities of verbs, adjectives or other adverbs in relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause and degree etc.
Types of Adverbs
There are 8 types of adverbs:
- Adverbs of Time
- Adverbs of Manner
- Adverbs of Place
- Adverbs of Number
- Adverbs of Quantity
- Adverbs of Affirmation
- Adverbs of Negation
- Interrogative Adverbs
